The Basic Course for Police Officer (BCPO), approved by the New Jersey Police Training Commission, is designed specifically for newly appointed police officers. It includes the prescribed course of study a police officer must complete as a condition for permanent appointment. Law Enforcement agencies will be mailed a complete application package upon request. The completed packet is due 15 days prior to the start of the class.
